When you complete the IEP Advantage course, you're going to become an Informed , Empowered , and Prepared parent for all of your future IEP meetings. There's literally no community offered anywhere to support parents of school-aged special needs children like this!
Due to the nature of this course being a digital downloadable product, no refunds what-so-ever will be issued after you make your purchase. However, we can promise that this course is a game changer and it's far worth the investment that you'll pay to access the huge amount of information provided in our IEP meeting prep system. The school districts have been attending IEP meetings for years, they know exactly what they're doing... it's time for parents to have an IEP meeting prep system in place, so parents can go into their meetings feeling supported, prepared, and confident. This system that I created is called The IEP Advantage Course & it's the only system available that will support & move you through the entire IEP meeting preparation process step-by-step.

Today my son Spencer, who has Asperger's syndrome, is a young adult, thriving and living his best life! But way back when Spencer was a toddler, he was developing very unusually. He presented himself as very autistic and had many special needs that challenged his daily functioning and communication.
At the age of 3, we were referred by his pediatrician to get evaluated by our local school district for autism. From that, we then went through the process to place our son in special education preschool at our local school district. Well, those IEP meetings did not go well for us! They were horrific!
We were unable to get him the support services we wanted him to have, and we didn't feel like our IEP Team wanted to provide a unique education for our son. Quite honestly, it felt like a horrible fight with the school IEP Team. We felt we had no choice but to agree with what they felt was "best" for our son.
Creating our son's initial IEP took several meetings, which included the district’s special education superintendent and lawyer attending, because we didn't see eye-to-eye. Feeling very diminished, intimidated, bullied, and defeated, we reluctantly enrolled Spencer into their inclusive Special Education preschool. Later that school year, we withdrew our son from that program because it was not going well for my son, and we continued to feel bullied by the school district!
The truth is, had we just understood the IEP meeting process and everything the IEP entailed, those meetings and my sons preschool experience could have gone so much better. And we would have known our rights and how to respond to feeling bullied. But, we had no idea what we were doing! Back then, we didn't even understand what an IEP was!

After my horrific experience with the IEP and the IEP meetings, I became determined and committed to learning everything I could about the IEP meeting process. It was my mission, that my sons next school experience would be so much better for him. So, I began learning everything that I could, and I created a method that I successfully used for IEP meeting prep! I then shared this system with as many parents as possible by mailing them my "IEP Help Disk" (Yes, a CD! This was back in 2005.), where I explained to parents the steps I took to successfully prepare for my IEP meeting! It felt great to help other parents succeed at their IEP meetings!

The IEP Advantage course is the solution that all parents of school-aged special needs children need! If you've been to IEP meetings, only to feel lost, confused, and completely stressed out as you're making decisions on your child's care and education, then you need this course! If you've felt like you don't even understand your child's disability that well, let alone the IEP, then this course is for you! If you don't know what services your child shdould be getting at school, then this course is for you. If you don't have time to figure out everything that you need to know for the IEP meeting, then this course is for you! Whether you're new to the IEP meeting, or have been to a few, or have many years under your belt already, this course is for you!
What I'm basically stating is that if you're a parent of a school-aged special needs child, then this course is for you! Because the real truth is, is that every parent will struggle with the IEP meeting process at some point! There are those of us parents that admit it because we know the struggle is real! And then there are those parents that say everything is perfect with their child's IEP. But the real truth is, there aren't many, if any, parents that have a perfect IEP! Most of those parents are parents that let the schools make the decisions for their child, because they avoid confrontation, they want their child to be liked and treated well, or they just don't know better and just agree with everything the school says, believing they're the professionals!
The IEP Advantage is comprehensive and revolutionary new way for parents to IEP meeting prep, and there is literally nothing else like it available, in this world! This course was created to be followed step-by-step and is divided into the modules below (think- chapters of a book) that sequentially build upon one another. This course is laid out as follows and each module has specific achievement goals:
Module 1: Your Home Room
Upon completion of MODULE 1, you will have a complete understanding of the layout of this course. This module should answer any questions that you may have regarding where you can find the information you need in this course.
Module 2: Your Child's Room
Upon completion of MODULE 2, you will have a thorough understanding of (1) Your child’s significant relationships in life and how they may influence your child, despite their special needs. (2) You will understand the role of each member of the IEP Team and what services they provide in the Special Education process. (3) You will understand which disabilities qualify for an IEP and you’ll have a firm understanding of all the areas of your child’s unique needs and how they fit into Special Education in the school. (4) You’ll better understand your child’s diagnosis, or lack of one and identify your feelings about diagnosis.
Module 3: Your Private Room
Upon completion of MODULE 3, you will have organized your thoughts and records pertaining to privately paid services (services obtained on your own, completely unrelated to the school district), including doctor visits, therapist visits and care givers, as well as privately paid tests and evaluations. You will also organize a record for all alternative treatments done for your child
Module 4: Your School Room
Upon completion of MODULE 4, you will be acutely aware of everything that is happening inside the school and how it’s affecting your child. MOD 4 is intended to be an ongoing tracking system about your child’s day at school. It’s not for the sake of micromanaging your child, but it is for their protection and benefit. Your child has special needs and that means they need oversite and management by YOU. Don’t leave this job up to the school staff, because if you’re not paying attention, there could be instances that your child could be taken advantage of.
Module 5: Your Emergency Room
Upon completion of MODULE 5, you will be better prepared to meet with an advocate or lawyer, should you still need to. MODULE 5 is intended to be an “emergency” tracking system, in the case where things don’t appear to be all peachy-keen for your child at school. Your goal is to collect data about your child’s meetings, and to start paying attention and creating written records of everything. It’s also a time to keep level-headed, use your thinking skills rather than reacting with emotions. In addition to this, MODULE 5 will help you walk through the process of getting professional IEP meeting assistance and give you one place to log it all, along with your thoughts and feelings about what’s happening.
Module 6: Your IEP Room
Upon completion of MODULE 6, you will be prepared for IEP meeting success! This module begins with explaining why Special Education is important and how to get an IEP. We then walk you through an actual IEP document, so that you understand all this legal document entails. Next, we review Procedural Safeguards, ever so important, but often glossed over by parents. Then we move on to everything you need to do and think about before, during and after the IEP meeting. We then talk about goals that you’d like to see your child accomplish, as well as provide you with a way to track your child’s IEP goal progress.
Module 7: Your Research Room
Upon completion of MODU LE 7, you will have done thorough research preparing you for your next IEP meeting . By viewing all of the links that I have shared with you inside this module, you will have accessed the tools to research everything related to your child's disability and the IEP laws . You should now have an excellent understanding of everything related to the IEP. This is a tremendous resource and is an especially important part of this course!
Module 8: Your Bonus Room
GOAL: Upon completion of MODULE 8 , you will have the finishing touches on preparing for your IEP meeting, as well as everyday management of your child's needs and schedule. You will have laid out your child's specific goals, by creating your vision and mission statements. You'll have access to the document: The Top 50 Questions Asked (With Answers) About The IEP process. There are a total of 8 bonuses given in this module that compliment The IEP Advantage course.
Module 9: Your Certification Room
Herein is the opportunity for you to earn certification of completion and understanding. This certification is test-based earned certification. What a great way to show up at your IEP meetings and make a statement, showing that you are certified in the IEP Advantage.
This course is here to help all parents across the USA learn IEP meeting prep. It is a starting point, a direction, a means to helping all parents to become Informed, Empowered and Prepared for their IEP meetings.
One of the benefits you'll get, upon completion of this course, is that you'll have a solid foundation by being completely prepared for all of your future IEP meeting, And in turn, because of this foundation, you can handle the IEP meeting on your own, not having to pay for the services of an attorney and/or special education advocate for basic help! Should your situation be more complex, and you do need to hire a professional to assist you, you'll save tons of time and money, compared to the parent that shows up completely unprepared and with no organization of records or understanding of the IEP proceedings!
Another benefit of completing The IEP Advantage course is that parents will learn how to advocate for their child's educational needs during the IEP meeting. When parents enter the "special education and IEP world", they're essentially entering a whole new world! There essentially is a "language barrier" because the IEP world has a whole set of terminology, processes and laws that parents need to quickly come up to speed on.
